What are Azzie’s containers used for? 
Storage of tools and materials on job sites, furniture during home remodels, and retail inventory storage are the most common uses.

How do I order?
Call 1-800-710-3411 and anyone at the container office can help you.

What is Azzie’s service area?
Santa Cruz County, North Monterey County, San Benito County, and Santa Clara County.
We deliver to commercial, residential and rural areas. We can deliver to other areas, but there may be additional charges. Please discuss this with our staff.

What type of locations can Azzie’s deliver to?
We need a level paved or hard packed gravel site, if that’s not available, our driver can look at your site to see if delivery is possible. Unpaved or non-packed gravel sites require you to sign an Off-Road Policy which holds you responsible for any towing fees or damage to our vehicles while attempting to deliver to these areas.

How long does it take to get a container delivered?
Normally we can deliver your container within three to five days.

How much space is required?
We need fourteen feet height clearance so we don’t hit trees and electrical lines. For a twenty-foot container we need fifty feet of space. For a forty-foot container we need 100 feet of space. If your surface is not level please provide some 2 by 4 blocking material.

How is my container delivered?
By our own fleet of twenty and forty foot tilt back trucks. The truck will back up into the spot where the container will be placed, tilt the bed up and drive out from under the unit.

Do I need to be present for the delivery of my container? Yes.

How do I have my container picked up?
Please give us a week notice if possible.

Can Azzie’s deliver a container to a mountain site?
Most mountain areas are accessible for our 20 foot container truck.

Can a container be custom painted?
Yes, if you purchase a container, it can be painted any color you want. Our rental containers are painted a medium tan.

What type of container modification are available?
If you purchase a container, we can do many different modifications. Modifications are not available on rental containers.

Can I pick out my container to purchase? Yes.

Does my purchased container come with a warranty?
Yes, a two-year warranty on our standard units.

How secure are Azzie’s storage containers?
All containers are watertight. Your lock is protected inside a lock protector, making it very difficult to cut the lock. However, it is suggested that you pick a relatively secure site to place your container because with the right tools any container can be broken into.

What are the containers made of?
They are refurbished sea-going shipping containers. They are made of steel and have wood floors.

Can my container be moved?
Yes, we can move your container, as long as it’s empty and accessible.

Does Azzie’s provide a lock?
No. We recommend a sturdy lock that locks from the bottom. We do have locks for sale at our mini-storage site, or you can request to have a lock delivered with your container for an extra fee.

Can Azzie’s put a container on the street?
We do not normally put containers on the street. If it is the only place available talk to the city to see if you need a permit.

Mini Storage FAQ’s

How quickly can I move in?
You can move in on the same day as you make your inquiry. All we require is a pictured identification to complete and sign your contract.

When can I access my storage unit?
We provide access to your storage from 7 am to 7 pm in the summer and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the winter, seven days a week.

Are your units drive-up units?
Yes, All of our units are ground level, and you can drive directly in front of your unit for easy loading from your vehicle.

What is the minimum rental period? Is there a maximum?
The minimum rental period is one month. You can store for as long as you want, there is no maximum rental period. Contracts are automatically renewed on a monthly basis.

Can I move to another unit if I need more or less space?
You are welcome to move to another room at any time as your requirements change

How do I cancel a lease?
We require a 10 days notice of your intention to vacate your unit. Notice must be given in writing, either by fax, post or e-mail.

What kind of security is there?
We feature an electronic gate with a unique security code for each customer. The storage area is also fenced, and there is a night watchman who stays on the facility every night. Personal locks are also available for purchase.

Do I get a lock when I rent a unit?
You can purchase a new lock at our facility. We offer a variety of sizes and types of locks and recommend purchasing a disc lock to ensure the highest level of security.

Do you offer spaces for RV/boat/car?
We offer parking spaces for cars, RVs and boats up to 25‚ long. We need a current copy of registration.

What’s the difference between office hours and gate hours?
We are available to assist you with your storage needs during office hours. The gate hours are the hours when your unit can be accessed.

Do you offer insurance?
We don’t sell insurance ourselves, but we can provide information on how to insure your unit.

Are there additional costs?
When signing the contract, you will be asked to pay a non-refundable $7.00 account set-up fee.
